On December 27, 2011, the "China-ASEAN International Logistics Information Exchange Center" project implementation meeting was held at Yuchai Power Building. Xinwen News (Beijing) Index Center Director Zhou Wenlong, Xinhua News Agency, Guangxi Branch News and Information Center Director Xiong Chunlei, Yuchai Group President Gu Tangsheng, Yuchai Logistics Company leaders and related personnel attended the meeting.
First of all, Zhou Wenlong made a special training on "China-ASEAN Logistics Index", which included the principles, models, and functions of the China-ASEAN Logistics Index, and how to achieve the matching transaction between index trading products and target customers.
Zhou Wenlong emphasized that the China-ASEAN Logistics Index will collect, process and sort through the collection points of logistics information set up by the Xinhua News Agency in various ASEAN countries, so as to fully and accurately reflect the logistics industry demand and development trends in China and ASEAN countries and integrate logistics resources. Reducing the cost of logistics and promoting the formation of an emerging logistics industry have important model significance and benchmarking significance.
The meeting conducted friendly exchanges and discussions on related issues such as China-ASEAN International Logistics Information Exchange Center and China-ASEAN Logistics Index, and reached consensus on project-related issues.
