On April 21, 2012 China Automotive Forum "Globalization and China's Auto Industry - China's Auto Industry Development and Prospects for the 10th Anniversary of China's Accession to the WTO" was held at the Beijing Convention Center. After the meeting, the editor of Carsten.com had a dialogue with Ge Hong, the deputy secretary-general of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association.
Ge Hong introduced that at present, China's internal combustion engine remanufacturing production enterprises mainly have the following three types: manufacturer service type, overhauled enterprise upgrade type and manufacturing base chain type. In general, China's internal combustion engine remanufacturing already has a good foundation for industrial development. The remanufactured enterprises have initially formed distinctive products and technologies. The recycling system is continuously improving and has a certain production capacity. However, at present, China's overall development situation is that some key technology levels still need to be improved, the industrial support system is still not perfect, industry management and industrial policies need to be followed up, and other issues restrict the vigorous development of the internal combustion engine remanufacturing industry. Enterprises should continuously improve their technological systems and standards systems, strengthen self-discipline, strict requirements, and promote the standardization of the remanufacturing market. In this way, it will be more secure to promote China's auto companies to go international.
