· Guangxi Nanning bus city construction plan approved

On June 28, it was learned from the Transportation and Transportation Bureau of Nanning, Guangxi that Nanning, Guangxi will be built into a bus city with international standards, and is applying for the third batch of bus city construction demonstration projects to create cities.

At present, there are 6 bus operators in Nanning, Guangxi, with 158 bus lines, 2454 bus stations, 98.6% coverage at 500 meters, 837,700 square meters at bus stations, and 2966 buses at 3827 (3827 standard). The citizen card terminal system and car GPS installation rate is 100%, the video surveillance installation rate is 94%, the proportion of new energy bus vehicles is 38%, and the daily average bus passenger traffic is 1.51 million times. The bus support capacity and service level are continuously improved.

The approved bus construction plan for Nanning, Guangxi, is divided into five chapters and nine chapters. Including background articles, target articles, construction planning proposals, action plans and safeguards articles, detailed planning proposals, including TOD development planning along the track, rail transit construction planning, rapid transit (BRT) construction planning, bus special Road construction planning plan, bus hub and station construction planning plan, integrated conventional bus line network construction planning plan.

In the plan, the land use and transportation will be optimized and adjusted to optimize the land use along the backbone bus corridor, and an international standard public transport system with “integration, high security, quality and sustainability” will be constructed to realize land and traffic coordination. Development will transform Nanning into a bus city with international standards.

In terms of time schedule, the scope of planning research is from 2013 to 2020, divided into short-term and long-term. The recent years range from 2013 to 2017 (5 years in total) and the long-term from 2018 to 2020. According to the current situation of Nanning public transport development, the planning focus is to improve the level of public transport services, and establish a “big bus” system with four stations of bus station, line network, road right and subsidy mechanism to form a track, BRT as the backbone, and regular bus. A bus system that is seamlessly connected to the main body and in various ways.

It is understood that the Ministry of Transport proposed in the "Twelfth Five-Year Development Plan for Transportation" to carry out the "bus city" construction demonstration project during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, and selected 30 cities to implement the "bus city" construction demonstration project. After five years of hard work, in the demonstration city, the 500 meters of the main city will be on the train, and the transfer will be carried out in 5 minutes. The running speed of public electric vehicles will be significantly improved, and the bus travel sharing rate will reach 50%. In 2012 and 2013, a list of 37 bus city construction demonstration projects was completed.

At present, Nanning, Guangxi is developing a national public transport city demonstration city to create a declaration.
