Japan's September Machine Tool Order Increases 36.2% Mo

The Japan Machine Tool Industry Association (JMTBA) announced that the country’s September orders for machine tools fell 61.9% year-on-year, up 36.2% month-on-month, to 43.295 billion yen. Among them, domestic orders fell by 55.6% year-on-year, rising by 52.6% month-on-month to 15.917 billion yen, while foreign orders decreased by 65.8% year-on-year and rose 25.1% on month to 23.77 billion yen.
