The first batch of 15 LNG bus buses in Shenzhen was formally put into operation. Yesterday, the Launching Ceremony of the Clean Energy (LNG) bus organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Shenzhen Municipal Transportation Commission was held at the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town North Comprehensive Depot. The vice mayor of Shenzhen City, Zhang Siping, stated that the operation of the LNG bus was a successor to the hybrid bus. After the car was put into operation, Shenzhen has once again made a historic step in the development of green public transport.

The first batch of 15 LNG buses used for this delivery was first put into the bus line 21 bus demonstration operation. The 21 bus line runs from Xuweige Terminal Station to Tongle Village Terminal Station, passing Jingtian Road, Lianhua Road, Xiangmei Road, Shennan Avenue, Nanshan Avenue, and Zhongshan Park Road. The line is the first dedicated LNG bus demonstration line determined by the Transportation Commission. The operation vehicle to be invested is the Wuzhoulong 6111NG-1 type LNG clean energy eco-car developed and manufactured independently by Wuzhoulong Automobile Co., a local company in Shenzhen.

After this launching ceremony, in the near future, Shenzhen will also have 300 LNG bus buses to be put into operation in Shenzhen Bus Group, East and West Bus Company. Qiaocheng North Comprehensive Yard will also be the first LNG bus comprehensive service maintenance center in Shenzhen to provide comprehensive maintenance services for large-scale delivery of LNG buses in the future.

LNG buses have significant energy savings. In the trial operation lasting more than 50 days from October to November 2008, the cumulative operating mileage was 6,588 kilometers, and the average 100 kilometers gas consumption was 38 cubic meters. Compared with diesel vehicles of the same type III in the same country, the equivalent diesel mileage of 100 kilometers was 12.5 liters. 78.2 yuan, according to daily driving 300 kilometers, 26 days a month, calculated every year for 12 months, saving 11655 liters of diesel equivalent each year, about 73,000 yuan, saving 30% on year-on-year diesel passenger cars. The fuel used by LNG buses rarely generates hydrocarbons generated after combustion of fuel, and the emissions are clean. It is recognized as a "clean fuel" in the world. Compared with fuel buses, the harmful exhaust emissions of these LNG passenger vehicles have decreased by about 83%, and the emission standards have reached State IV, which is close to the national V national standard.

According to Hu Jianping, chairman of Shenzhen Bus Group, as of now, the buses of the bus group have basically adopted the Euro III engine. In 2009, they had purchased 347 new energy vehicles, including 147 hybrid vehicles and 200 LNG vehicles. In 2010, The relevant plans of the Shenzhen Municipal Government will also put 188 hybrid vehicles and 280 LNG vehicles.

Zhang Shiming, director of the Shenzhen Transportation Commission, revealed that at present, Shenzhen has been identified by the four ministries and commissions as one of the 13 cities for demonstration and promotion of energy-saving and new energy vehicles in China. Before 2012, Shenzhen's transportation industry will complete the promotion of the 4,000 hybrid bus bus service targets and promote the work target of 2,500 electric rental cars.
