What are the differences between temperature deviation and temperature uniformity?

1) Although the temperature uniformity index can represent the temperature uniformity of the working space in the tank, the method of multiple averages is used in the calculation, so that the temperature fluctuation factors at each point are basically eliminated. . However, it is not enough to mark the temperature uniformity of the test equipment's temperature performance index. There must also be a temperature fluctuation index, that is, the temperature of each point change with time, to fully describe the temperature field inside the box, especially when the temperature fluctuates. Larger case.

2) The temperature deviation not only reflects the positional error of the temperature of each point of the workspace, but also includes the variation of the temperature of each point with time, that is, the temperature fluctuation. Therefore, the temperature deviation can better explain the temperature uniformity in the box. Generally, it is unnecessary to measure the temperature uniformity and temperature fluctuation of the test box. Only when some test equipment has special requirements for temperature fluctuation, such as for the damp heat box, the temperature fluctuation is marked. Because the humidity tank temperature fluctuations exceed ± 0.5 °C, it will bring greater humidity fluctuations, increase the humidity error, so as to exceed the humidity tolerance.

GB/T5170.2-1996, in the verification method of temperature test equipment, only the temperature deviation is specified for the temperature performance index, and no verification is required for the temperature uniformity. Only the temperature fluctuation and temperature are indicated in Appendix B. Degree of verification method, such a rule is very correct.

3) The temperature uniformity index, which represents the difference between the average value of the temperature at each point and the average temperature at the center point, has a sign, and only the temperature uniformity of the national standard is compared with the center point or compared with the nominal temperature. Therefore, there is no sign, so there is no clear and accurate representation of the temperature deviation.

4) At present, some domestic environmental testing equipment product standards still require three indicators of temperature fluctuation, temperature uniformity and temperature deviation, obviously not necessary. It is recommended that the temperature deviation index be used when these standards are revised, and that adding up to one temperature fluctuation index is very comprehensive. Moreover, the use of temperature deviation in line with the US military standard, the national military standard, and the relevant standards of the International Electrotechnical Commission requirements.
