JCB operating platform exposed, starting sales

Recently, a British customer purchased JCB's newly listed aerial work platform equipment and became the world's first user of JCBAWP products. The Oxford-based user purchased the S1930e, which is one of JCB's first nine electric scissors series.

Jason Prisley, the user's managing director, said: "We have a batch of JCB telehandler series and have worked with key members of the JCBAWP team. I have confidence in the quality, design and service of our products."

Richard Butler, managing director of JCB's platform division, said: We have always been optimistic about the prospects of the AWP industry. Current customer inquiries and sales have exceeded expectations. The S1930e is a 19-inch electric scissor platform. The platform is 1.64 meters long and 0.76 meters wide. The platform can hold 227kg and is powered by four 6V or 12V batteries.

According to the plan, by the end of 2017, besides the 9 electric scissor platform models, JCB will launch 27 new high-altitude equipments, including three major series of products: scissor, crank arm and straight arm. (This article comes from JCB )
