[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Metrology Institute and the enterprise's R&D project "Product Development of a High Reliability Damping Shock Pressure Gauge" has been successfully completed and accepted.
Pressure is one of the important parameters in the industrial production process. Many process productions can only be performed under certain pressure conditions to achieve the desired results. The monitoring of pressure is also a guarantee of safe production and an important link to ensure the economic and safety of the industrial production process. The more commonly used pressure measurement instrument is a shock pressure gauge.
Seismic pressure gauges consist of a pressure-guiding system (including joints, spring tubes, current limiting screws, etc.), gear transmissions, indicating devices (pointers and dials), and housings (including case, cover, watch glass, etc.). In the highly vibrating environment, the shock-proof pressure gauge housing is an external airtight structure, and at the same time, the housing is filled with a damping fluid to protect the internal parts and reduce the influence of external vibration and medium intrusion.
Because the shock-proof pressure gauge has the characteristics of reducing the severe vibration of the environment and the influence of the medium pulse on the meter's display value, and the long service life, the shock-proof pressure gauge is more and more widely used in machinery, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, mining, power and other departments.
The seismic pressure gauge of Zhejiang Province's Metrology Institute cooperated with the enterprise to improve the structure of the movement and the pointer shaft. A damping chamber was designed at the end of the pointer shaft to fill the damping oil to achieve the shock resistance of the pressure gauge. The new shock-proof pressure gauge has a wider operating temperature range under the premise of ensuring accuracy and original anti-seismic performance.
Compared with traditional pressure gauges, the new pressure gauge reduces the sealing requirements of the case, avoids leakage of the shock-proof pressure gauge filling fluid caused by the aging of the sealing measures, significantly prolongs the service life, and effectively promotes product optimization.
The production of the instrument is an indispensable part of the industrial production process. The improvement of the seismic pressure gauge has a very positive significance for the instrument R&D industry.
