It is understood that China's first small nitrogen fertilizer plant was put into production in Dalian Dahua Group in 1958, and it produced 400 tons of ammonia water every year. With the country's emphasis on supporting the agriculture industry, small nitrogen fertilizer companies are rapidly established throughout the country with a uniform layout. The small nitrogen fertilizer industry with congenitally deficient technology, relying on technological advancement, has gradually narrowed the gap between technology and production of nitrogen fertilizers. The new technology of continuous catalytic conversion of natural gas adopted by Sichuan Meifeng, and the new urea technology for improved CO2 stripping method, etc., have provided experience to enhance the large-scale production of small nitrogen fertilizer production equipment.
