Upward approach filling mining method at the Kristenberg copper mine in Plettine, Sweden

The ore body granite intrusions large area sericite and chlorite formation. The ore body is east-west, with an inclination of 40° to 70°. The ore body is composed of two mutually parallel mineralized belts with a distance of about 130m. It is commonly known as the South Ore Belt and the North Ore Belt. The North Belt is composed of five separate complex ore bodies. A central referred ore wherein the ore body, the copper-rich pyrite and sphalerite, galena composed of a small number, a large southern ore belt B by the two small ore bodies and lenticular ore body. The main mineral consists of pyrite and disseminated chalcopyrite. The ore grade of A ore body: gold 1.7g/t, silver 6.9g/t, copper 1.17%, zinc 7.05%, lead 0.55%, sulfur 25.4%; B ore body ore grade: gold 0.5g/t, silver 5g /t, copper 1.63%, zinc 0.2%, sulfur 23%. The surrounding rock is interspersed with highly platy sericite chlorite veins.
The deposit is developed using a central shaft. The stage height is bounded by a level of 490 m, which is 80 m above and 100 m below. The mine has a ramp system that extends from the surface to 790m and has a total length of 5000m.
In the A ore body, the upper approach is used to fill the mining method. When the horizontal thickness of the ore body exceeds 6~8m, the upper plate approach is firstly drilled and filled with tailings. The inlet specifications are generally wide x height 5 x 5 m. The recovery method is shown in Figure 1. The uppermost filling layer of the upper plate is a cement tail mortar with a thickness of 1.0 to 1.2 m and a sand-to-cement ratio of 1:10 to 1:12, so that the self-equipment can operate normally in the upper part thereof. The tailings filling capacity is 15 tons/year.

The approach is backed by Atlas Copco's one-arm or dual-arm rig, with Cop90, Cop115, Cop932, and Cop1038 hydraulic rock drills for rock drilling. The face ore is shipped using the TORO500D, TORO350D, ST-5B, and ST-2B scrapers. Service vehicles are used for charging, turquoise treatment, and diesel transportation. The mining cost is 160-170 kr / ton and the tunneling cost is 300 kr / m 3 or 7500 kr / m (section is 25 m 2 ).
