The first domestic 9E gas turbine generator set produced by Nanjing Steam Turbine Motor (Group) Co., Ltd. has been successfully operated after the successful integration of Qinghai Golmud Gas Power Plant. This is the world's highest operating gas turbine generator set, marking the new level of domestic production of heavy-duty gas turbine generator sets in China.

Compared with coal-fired power plants of the same capacity, it has good thermal and environmental effects, while occupying land and water consumption.
