Recently, the technical appraisal meeting for the LOCA test device of the National Energy Nuclear Power Device Instrument Development (Experiment) Center was successfully held in Shanghai.
The appraisal meeting was entrusted by the China National Machinery Industry Federation to be held by the National Energy Administration. The meeting was chaired by the president of the Federation, Yong Bin. Academician Ye Qirong serves as the director of the appraisal committee, and the director of East China Nuclear and Radiation Safety Supervision Station Wang Zhongtang serves as the deputy director, and comes from the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the North China Nuclear and Radiation Safety Supervision Station, the National Nuclear Engineering Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Nuclear Engineering. Eight experts from Research and Design Institute, China Nuclear Power Technology Research Institute, China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., Shanghai Nuclear Power Office, and Shanghai Automation Instrumentation Co., Ltd. jointly formed the appraisal committee. Representatives from the National Energy Administration, the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission, and the Shanghai Nuclear Power Office attended the meeting.
The LOCA test set was jointly developed by Shanghai Industrial Automation Instrument Research Institute and Shanghai Cable Research Institute. At the meeting, the participating experts and representatives listened carefully to the research report made by the joint research unit, reviewed the design technical data, verification test report, nuclear power equipment test quality assurance system and other documents, and went to the scene to witness the demonstration test of LOCA test equipment. After questioning and discussion, the appraisal committee concluded that the completed LOCA test device is novel and has reached the international advanced level, which is of great significance in promoting the development of China's nuclear power industry and the localization of nuclear power equipment.
After the meeting, the development unit stated that it will improve the LOCA test set as soon as possible according to the opinions of experts from the appraisal meeting, and strive to fulfill the duties of the national energy nuclear power station instrument R&D (experiment) center as soon as possible, and provide the highest quality for nuclear power meter control and electrical equipment manufacturers.
