Hobbing processing:

(3) Whether the hob is neutral or not is related to whether the correct tooth shape can be cut out. This is one of the main differences between it and the involute gear, which is carried out by means of the tooth cutter method.
(4) The double arc gear is sensitive to the error of the helix angle. It directly affects the change of the instantaneous angular velocity ratio and also affects the pitch error. Therefore, the spiral angle error is required to be as small as possible.
