The Nanshi Water Plant, located in the Puxi Park of the Expo Site, was officially put into operation after the first phase of the renovation project. It is reported that the core technology of this plant adopts a new type of coagulation and clarification process of an efficient clarifier, and based on the conventional water treatment process, an advanced ozone ozone treatment process has been added, and the entire water treatment process has reached the international advanced level. The treated water quality not only meets the highest hygiene standards for drinking water in the Ministry of Health, but also conforms to international standards. In terms of green environmental protection and comprehensive utilization of resources, the Nanshi Water Plant will adopt sludge centrifugal dewatering technology, which will be used for comprehensive utilization after the dewatering and solidification of the discharged mud water is carried out. By March of next year, the water supply of the Nanshi Water Plant will be switched from the original raw water in the upper reaches of the Huangpu River to the raw water of the Yangtze River from the Qingcaosha Reservoir, and the quality of the effluent will be further improved.
